

My name is Laura & I’m a personal trainer, fitness instructor & exercise referral specialist who is passionate about helping people feel confident with exercise no matter what struggles they are facing.
I have a background in teaching, a degree in psychology and I believe that these skills & knowledge, along with my own struggles with exercise & health in the past enable me to support clients in an honest & understanding way.
I understand what it feels like to feel anxious walking into a gym. I’ve been there!
I know the frustration of wanting to exercise but dealing with aches & pains which make it feel impossible.
I relate to feeling lost & like you have no control after being diagnosed with a medical condition. It happened to me too!
I want to help you get back to being you, to take back control & to use movement to improve both your physical & mental health!
I wouldn’t normally feel comfortable going to the gym, but Laura’s classes have completely changed that for me. She creates such a welcoming, supportive atmosphere that I actually look forward to going. My anxiety has noticeably reduced, and I now go to the gym not just for my body, but for my mind too.
From day one, Laura listened to my challenges with a sympathetic ear and has tailored the sessions so they work perfectly for me. I struggle with consistency but since working together, exercising genuinely feels less of a chore and I actually look forward to it! Laura is motivating and encourages you to be your best but isn't pushy. I've noticed such a difference in my strength - at my 12 weeks check in, I had improved in nearly all areas which really is a credit to Laura's skills I particularly like that she uses data to monitor progress and explains the reasons why you're doing the exercises. It's been so helpful to understand where I am, and the ongoing health checks and assessments make me confident I'm in good hands Laura is lovely and genuine and is so accommodating with the sessions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
Laura makes everyone feel at ease. Nothing is too much trouble. Her classes vary to the skill (or lack of) for her clients. No one is made to feel inadequate and the whole class is so respectful. In additiuon, Laura is a truly decent person making the experience enjoyable, fun and leaves one feeling you've accomplished something. This draws you back for more as its not a chore but an exercise into making a healthier life. I cannot recommend her enough.
Laura is a great trainer, really good at motivating you to do the exercises without any pressure and the sessions are great fun. Been doing classes since january and really helping to tone me up and gain strength. Laura will also personalise exercises to accommodate individuals abilities.
Absolutely cannot reccomend Laura enough! I've been continuously going to her classes since January this year and both my physical health and mental health has improved massively. Laura's classes are fun and easily adapted for personal needs. The only class I have ever felt comfortable in and it makes me want to return week after week. Thank you Laura!
I have just had my 3rd seated exercise class with Laura, I have several medical restrictions due to illness. Laura makes you feel very relaxed and under no pressure to do anything that is too difficult for you. I am thoroughly enjoying it and hope to continue to go long term.

I pride myself on creating classes that feel welcoming, inclusive, full of fun & support and see this as equally important, if not more so, than the exercise itself. Many of my clients, and myself, have felt lost, not like ourselves anymore, liked we are Mum over above anything else. We have felt stuck in a body we don’t feel happy in but didn’t know how to get out of it and make changes. The members in our classes may vary in age, gender & physical ability but where they remain the same is in the support they give each other, the fun they share and the progress they make.
